It is crazy how busy I am at this point in the semester. I hardly have any spare time to prepare myself for the trip which is quickly approaching. I know I still need to do a lot of research, work on the projects, try different foods, figure out what else I need to buy, and figure out what all I am bringing with me. And I have a bunch of assignments in all of my classes. I might be jumping the gun a bit in stressing over the time constraints, but I feel like I need to thoroughly prepare. Time management in the second half of the semester is critical, but I feel like it is even more critical since I’m preparing to go to Asia. One of the things that I definitely need to prepare for is the food. I don’t have dietary restrictions, but I’m unfamiliar with Vietnamese or Burmese cuisine. I’m looking forward to trying it. I have a feeling I’m going to be trying a lot of food that I would not typically consider when choosing what to eat. I hope to also have a few opportunities to try it before we go, that way I’ll be more comfortable with all of the different options when we get there.
