Being one of the few who have not done more with marketing in their career at Missouri State I felt a little behind. I felt like I had to catch up a little bit but I am now beginning to be in the swing of things. I think this project, as I have stated before, will be a very valuable experience for everyone. Dr. Daniel was very relatable and I feel like I learned a lot from his talk. I am immensely excited to visit Sydney, which is Brandon, Lucas, and my extension. I was researching the city and found a few interesting facts that I hadn’t known.
- The first thing many people get shocked about is when they find out that Sydney is not the capital of Australia. In fact, it is often confused with Canberra because Sydney is the most densely populated city in the entire Oceania continent and it is also internationally famous.
- Even if English is indeed the main language people speak in Sydney, two other languages, Chinese and Arabic are almost just as popular among people who live there.
- The world famous Sydney Opera House hosts a minimum of 3000 shows per year.
These three really stuck out to me but there are many more if you are interested.
