While the title implies one, I would have been better off saying Hawker centers. Hawker Centers are food courts that bring several food vendors under one roof, as to improve food quality, hygiene and licensing issues. These establishments were a solution to the open air food markets that preceded them. While they were once considered a place for the less affluent to dine, they have become epicenters for some of the best food, with the best variety all at a fair price. Anthony Bourdain has long been a fan and foodies the world over have researched and dined at these places of gluttonous delight. If anyone has an adventurous gut and the want of a little off the wall exploration I would love to sit and enjoy an eclectic meal over drinks and good conversation.

I would definitely say I like to try different things, but an “adventurous gut” I ‘m not so sure. However, I can’t wait to see if I’m up to the task when we get there!
