We took an early flight to Singapore. Once we arrived we got the MRT card and checked into the hotel. After settling down a little, a couple of friends and I left to have dinner at what they call a hawker area. It’s basically a cleaned up space full of people who cook in booths. We had the Haiainese food of steamed chicken and rice. The chicken was so soft and yummy. After dinner, we looked around at places near our hotel before heading back. At night we headed together as a group to the Sands Marina hotel. It is a huge shopping center/hotel rooms made up of three buildings and is connected by a huge boat like rooftop. We chilled at their bar for a little while and enjoyed the night city view. It was breathtaking.
