After Mrs. Pham talking about the days for fun in the Maldives i have been looking for activities that I think would be interesting. I do not think that I want to spend my entire time at the resort just because I will be loosing out on so much culture and experience. Mrs. Pham talked about going to have lunch on a sandbank, so I looked into it. A sandbank is not a full fledged island but you are taken over on a boat and you will be able to relax on the beach and will have the view of your life. Also if we decide to stay until dark there is suppose to be an amazing light show since there is practically zero air pollution. Because the islands are close to the Equator, the moon is brighter and the stars more defined and easier to find. I am excited to see what other people have in mind for the free days that we get to explore.

I’ve also researched about the night sky in the Maldives. Due to the fact the islands are so secluded and there is hardly, if any, light population you can see the Milky Way at night. I would love to experience this.
