Today was incredible! We woke up early and had breakfast at the hotel, which included many things that I’m not even going to try and spell (but tasted delicious). We had the opportunity to visit HUFLIT, present about MSU, meet the students, and tour the campus. We got to sing a Vietnamese song and tried pronouncing the names of the students – which I’m sure was entertaining for everyone watching! After the university tour, we had a briefing with the US Consulate, presented about Missouri, and talked with many Vietnamese people answering questions they had. Today was also filled with a lot of experimenting of different foods and eating things I never even thought existed. Overall, the people here never cease to amaze me – they are so kind and patient with us. But for now I can barely keep my eyes open another second… so goodnight ☺️
