On our third day in Vietnam we got the opportunity to visit a chocolate company called Dobla. It has been the highlight of my trip so far. It was interesting to learn the history and background of the company. While listening to the President talk I was fascinated by the fact when they opened the Asia Pastry Academy they cut their lead time by 84%. That is amazing for any company. I think the best part of the tour was learning how to make chocolate Christmas trees. The head chef gave us all lessons and we attempted to decorate Christmas trees. Following our decorating lesson we got a tour of the factory. Which was pretty neat to see how the company operates. Double treated us to lunch in their facility. I had Pho for the first time. It had lots of flavors and tasted good. Following our visit to Dobla we headed to the beach. It was exciting to swim in the Indian Ocean considering it was all our groups first time. I wish we could have watched the sunset but it started to rain so we had to go back to the hotel. Overall it was a fun and great day.
