The Kleban Foundation recently named Nathan Tysen as one of the recipients for the Kleban Prize. This award is given to lyricists and librettists in order to pursue their craft. Nathan Tysen receives this honor for most promising lyricist. Past honorees have included Jason Robert Brown, David Lindsay-Abaire, and Jeff Marx and Robert Lopez. The winners will collect their awards at a ceremony in June.
