Project ACCESS is announcing a NEW five-day training series. What was formerly known as Working with Students with Autism in the Schools (WASS) will now be known as: Core Principles for Educating Students with Autism. This new training will include three face-to-face days along with additional online content (to be completed at the participants’ discretion). Ample time (typically, at least four weeks) will be provided between the first two face-to-face days and the final face-to-face day giving the participant plenty of time to complete the required online portions. Participants will have time to reflect on material learned and apply new information in their classroom settings at their own pace, then receive live, in-person feedback from the presenters during the final face-to-face day. As mentioned, completion of all online content is REQUIRED prior to attendance at the final day. Participants must be sure to schedule time on their own to complete the online content portions and reflection statements.
