Did you know that Project ACCESS has a one-day training on Working with Students with Classic Autism? This training is designed to focus on “how to” strategies to help students with more classic characteristics of autism to become independent and employable through evidence-based programming in the school setting. Topics include: understanding students’ strengths and needs, life planning, structured teaching, task analysis, self-evaluation, social skill instruction, and collecting and interpreting classroom data to enhance programmatic changes.
Target audience: special education teachers, regular education teachers, administrators, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
