As we are all aware, the news on COVID-19 is rapidly evolving. With the declaration of a national state of emergency and, more specifically for Missouri, we are following the precautions set forth by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), as well as state and local officials.
Everyone’s health and safety are our first concern. To that end, we are CANCELING the following events:
*Tuesday, March 24th, Supporting Academically Able ASD Students in the School Setting (Rolla)
*Tuesday, March 31st, Functional Behavior Assessment and Behavior Improvement Plans (Clinton)
*Friday, April 3rd, Autism Educators’ Network (AEN) meeting (Jefferson City)
*Thursday, June 11th, Project ACCESS Autism Edcamp (Kansas City)
*Friday, June 12th, Project ACCESS Summer Conference, featuring Michelle Garcia-Winner of Social Thinking® (Kansas City)
In the meantime, Project ACCESS staff members are committed to continuing to be available to assist you as much as possible. We hope that we may stay connected to you, so please contact us at projectaccess@missouristate.edu or 866-481-3841.
Also, please consider using our free online Autism Helpline as a portal to remain connected to your colleagues.
Thank you for all you do.
