During these still uncertain times, Project ACCESS would like to remind you that we are here to support Missouri’s educators, students and caretakers. While we are not in the office, we are at work, doing all we can to provide continuity in our provision of training, resources and support services.
We continue to post additional information to our Resources page on our website, providing links to helpful websites, materials and support for educators and parents/caretakers of children who are in the current, unplanned distance-learning situation.
Our free online Autism Helpline is also available as a web-based community portal for educators from across Missouri to stay connected, asking questions about – or offering advice for – challenging school-related situations, sharing ideas, discussing issues and generating solutions.
Project ACCESS has also converted our Summer Educators’ Academy to an entirely online format and all are free of charge, enabling access to professional development and resources during this challenging time.
Applications for the Project ACCESS Autism Credential (PAAC) for the 2020-2021 school year are being accepted from school districts that are interested in participating and we will keep applicants updated as the status evolves.
As always, please contact us if you need any assistance serving students who experience autism and related developmental disabilities. We see you and we hear you and we appreciate you!
