We’ve posted a new Autism Minute, our brief (usually 5 minutes or less) instructional videos that provide information designed to add to your available resources for serving students with autism and other developmental disabilities.
This month’s video features Terri Carrington, M.A., CCC-SLP, who has served as Project ACCESS Associate Director, Autism Resources Specialist, Missouri Autism Consultant and Autism Team Coach. She continues last month’s focus on data, this time on defining the target:
- What skill(s) will you choose?
These are typically goals you have chosen for your student’s IEP and are the results of assessment
*Is your goal something you can count, time, see, measure?
*Have you operationally defined your skill so others can also take data with fidelity?
