Autism Journey Day 29-Paige takes part in the ROOTs program at The Farmer’s House. She went to the farm weekly in middle school and high school. No two days are the same for her, which she loves! It was through participating in art projects there that she found her love of painting. Not only does she love it, but she is quite talented. She has won blue ribbons and one of her pieces was a part of a traveling exhibit for a year. As much as she disliked coloring, cutting and gluing we were shocked that painting was her thing. This just shows that you never know if you don’t try. Encourage all children to explore different activities so they can discover their hidden talents.
