Autism Journey Day 30-The month of April has been designated for teaching and learning more about autism so that the community can understand and accept individuals with autism. Though I have been talking about Paige and some of the things our family has experienced because of autism, I know that our anecdotes have resonated with many people who have a child with other disabilities. I hope that by reading about our journey you may have learned some things. I know I am continually learning and growing. I would never have wished for a child with a disability, but Paige has taught me so much! She has touched the lives of many with her smile and her heart. We were SO blessed by amazing teachers and therapists. Please know that every comment made in person or on Facebook has meant so much. I had no idea so many people would read my lengthy daily posts. Our journey is ongoing and full of hope and adventure.
