March 24, 2022 by Mackensie Darst

Tomorrow, March 25th, is the day we have been looking forward to: the 22nd annual Ag Forum at the Darr Agricultural Center. This year we have the pleasure of welcoming three national and state recognized leaders within the agricultural industry. Senator Roy Blunt, Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe, and Missouri Farm Bureau President Garrett Hawkins will serve as panelists during the event. Missouri State University President Clif Smart will deliver a welcome.

Senator Roy Blunt states, “The Missouri State University Ag Forum is a great opportunity for students and the ag community to come together for an insightful discussion on the top issues facing Missouri farmers and ranchers,” Blunt continued, saying, “This will mark my 22nd MSU Ag Forum, and I once again appreciate the opportunity to talk about my efforts in Washington to ensure Missouri farmers and ranchers are well-positioned to talk about my efforts in Washington to ensure Missouri farmers and ranchers are well-positioned to take advantage of the great opportunities ahead.”

Each speaker will relay national and/or state issues impacting agriculture. After their remarks, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with light refreshments being served prior to discussion. The event will begin at promptly at 6:30 p.m.

We look forward to the great discussions ahead with these three panelists who strive to make a difference within agriculture both nationally, and statewide.
