Companion animals like cats, dogs, birds and reptiles provide a special connection to their humans.

Whether you’re a lifelong pet lover or considering a future in animal science, Missouri State University’s School of Agricultural Science and Conservation offers courses in companion animal management. They provide hands-on training in animal behavior, shelter management, nutrition and other vital areas.

Misti Fry, certified professional dog trainer and instructor, explains to KY3 what these classes entail.
