Missouri State alumna Moira Traw (BA Art History, 2012) will give her professional public presentation, “Tourism and Cultural Preservation: Woven Arts of the Emberá and Wounaan Cultures” at the Park Central Branch Library and gallery on Friday, November 2 at 6 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session.
The public presentations on art history at the Park Central Branch Library are coordinated by Dr. Billie Follensbee, Department of Art and Design at Missouri State and Kelly Miller, Director, Park Central Branch Library. Traw’s presentation will expand upon a talk that she gave at the 2012 annual intercollegiate Art History Symposium, a competitive symposium coordinated by Dr. Catherine Jolivette, Department of Art and Design at Missouri State. Attendance is free and open to all.
