MSU sculpture student Jacob Gaumer and Swedish collaborator Cecelia Pfaff have received a grant to present their ‘Knitted Mountains’ project at Stenbyskolan, a school of art and design in Sweden.

The largest of the mountains is projected to be 20 feet tall, a massive scale intended to bring into question commonplace assumptions about the nature of knitting as an art form.
