Scholarship amount varies depending on the availability of funding, but awards are usually for $50 – $100.

APPLICATION

Complete the General and Departmental Scholarship Application by March 1.

This scholarship considers financial need. Please submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) preferably by Feb. 15.

All Department of Art + Design Scholarships require the submission of an Art Portfolio.

Portfolios can be submitted online within the General and Departmental Scholarship Application.

Portfolios should include…

• Studio Art + Design Majors: 15 pieces of artwork from any medium/media
• Art History Majors: Original research paper on some aspect of art architecture or art criticism

SELECTION CRITERIA

Awarded annually to sophomore or junior majoring in the Department of Art + Design with an overall GPA of 3.0 that demonstrates outstanding accomplishments in visual arts studies. Awarded with regard for financial need.

RENEWAL CRITERIA

This scholarship cannot be renewed.
