Scholarship amount varies depending on the availability of funding, but awards are usually $250 – $300.

APPLICATION

Complete the General and Departmental Scholarship Application by March 1.

All Department of Art + Design Scholarships require the submission of an Art Portfolio.

Portfolios can be submitted online within the General and Departmental Scholarship Application.

Portfolios should include…

• Studio Art + Design Majors: 15 pieces of artwork from any medium/media
• Art History Majors: Original research paper on some aspect of art architecture or art criticism

SELECTION CRITERIA

Awarded annually to a full-time student majoring in Art Education. Incoming freshmen considered based on high school academic performance and leadership. Sophomores or greater must have an overall GPA of 3.0 and a departmental GPA of 3.5.

RENEWAL CRITERIA

This scholarship can be renewed, but students must reapply to be considered for renewal.
