Native Art for the Americas, an exhibit of the best student research and the art and artifacts that they researched for ART 385: Art of the Americas and ART 485: Art of the Mesoamerica, will be opening later this week!
The exhibition will be held inside the Special Collections and Archives gallery, Third Floor, Meyer Library, from October 18th through December 17th, 2017. There will be an opening reception from 4:30-6:00p, Wednesday, October 18th, with refreshments provided by the Office of Citizenship and Service-Learning.
The student researchers and their families, the museums and private collection staff who loaned the objects, MSU faculty and staff, and the general public are invited to meet for the opening of this exhibit, which features loaned art and artifacts along with the best student research on these objects from the students’ classes.
