Four members of Missouri State’s chapter of Phi Beta Lambda competed and placed at the Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference. Two competitors took home first place. Nationals took place June 24 – 27, 2017 in Anaheim, California.
Congratulations to the following students on their victories:
- Kerri Young – 1st place: Sports Management and Marketing
- Jacob Auten – 1st place: Organizational Behavior and Leadership
- Bradley Wyman and Cameron Smith – 6th place: Marketing Analysis and Decision Making
In order to qualify for National Competition, each competitor had to finish in the top 2 at state competition. At nationals, each competitor had to compete in preliminary rounds and finish in the top 10 to qualify for finals.
Phi Beta Lambda is a nonprofit education association preparing students for careers that encompasses leadership conferences, state and national competitions with categories ranging from contemporary sports issues to web design and everything in between.
