Most are familiar with Earth Day on April 22.
But one day isn’t enough. Missouri State University will dedicate the week of April 18-22 to educate the community on sustainability practices.
“Sustainability refers to the idea that we are dependent on our natural environment for all our needs and well-being,” said Dr. Toby Dogwiler, professor and department head of the geography, geology and planning department at MSU. “It also includes the guarantee that future generations will be able to sustain themselves.”
Earth Week events will take place across campus this week. All are encouraged to attend.
