It’s the first week back to school for Missouri State students, and the Bear POWER team has been hard at work!
First things first, our blog will be shifting gears this semester. After this week, the blog will become a monthly feature that focuses on more personal, in-depth storytelling. In addition, our Facebook page will feature weekly series, and more original content. We are also excited to introduce Instagram pages to our social media roundup. We want to share meaningful content, and stories about our students, community, and passion for inclusion. We think this change will help us to accomplish that, and to connect more deeply with those who follow our pages. Look out for these exciting changes!
This week we also welcomed two Service Learning students to our team. Hannah Peak and Ryleigh Murray have already made our new office feel more like home, and have gotten started on some really exciting projects for this fall semester, and the coming spring semester! We can’t wait to share what they have been working on with you!
Lastly, we have some exciting fall events coming up for our Bear Blazers and Bear POWER students. These events are existing on campus, and we want to invite our group to join in with the rest of the MSU student body to have some fun! Events we are planning to attend so far, are:
