Foster Recreation Center Wins Awards

At the recent NIRSA-Leaders in Collegiate Recreation National Conference in Nashville, TN, the Foster Recreation Center was recognized with the Outstanding Sports Facility award.  The NIRSA Outstanding Sports Facilities Awards recognize the innovative designs of new, renovated, or expanded collegiate recreational facilities of NIRSA Member Institutions.

The Foster Recreation Center has also received recognition from the Springfield Chapter of the AIA (American Institute of Architects) in the following categories:
Public Recognition – Honor Award (Highest given by public jury)
Innovation Award (Only one given)
Professional Jury – Honor Award (Again, highest award given by professional jury)
