Family Connection

Ask Priscilla! Who needs to check-in for Family Weekend?

September 8, 2017 by Priscilla Childress

Thanks for this question. I’ll start by saying if you ONLY ordered football tickets (the GoMaroon Package), then you don’t need to check-in for Family Weekend. If you registered for the Bear Family Tailgate, the Welcome Breakfast, the Student Showcase & Dinner, the Dive-in Movie, the Inclusive Excellence Leadership Scholars Family Reception, the Golf Scramble or you chose a package (FlatBoomer, Traditions, Make Your Missouri Statement, GoBears, MSU Bears, BearUp), you need to check-in and pick up your tickets.

Check-in for Family Weekend will take place on Friday, September 15th, 4-7pm in the Plaster Student Union 2nd floor lobby or on September 16th, 8-10am at the PSU Ballroom Info Desk. When you check-in, you will receive your Family Weekend Folder which includes a schedule of events, your #FlatBoomer and your tickets plus a goodie bag.

If you didn’t register for any events but would like a printed schedule (limited quantities) or a #FlatBoomer (limited quantities), you can stop by during the above times and see what we have available.  Remember there are several events you don’t have to have tickets for. These include Rock-n-Bowl, the Sparkling Brunch and the Comedy Show. There are also several athletic events taking place during Family Weekend and Cider Days, a great Springfield fall festival, will be happening September 16-17th. Check out the schedule of events here.

Your student can pick up your tickets for you during the times listed above.

If you have questions, don’t hesitate to contact me at pchildress@missouristate.edu or at (417) 836-3060.

We’re looking forward to seeing y’all at Family Weekend!
