University Ambassadors are a diverse group of high-achieving students that promote a positive image of Missouri State through campus tours, large recruitment events, and other university-related activities. Involvement in University Ambassadors requires that members are full-time students with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 each semester, are eligible for employment by the university, and have 24 college credit hours (including in-progress hours) at Missouri State. We select Ambassadors that excel in communication, that are confident and outgoing, and that are passionate about Missouri State.
Becoming a member of University Ambassadors is the best way that a student can help shape the future of the university and give something back to the institution. In addition, Ambassadors enjoy many benefits, including:
- Pay for all training and work done for the university
- Training to enhance one’s leadership and public speaking skills, as well as one’s knowledge about MSU
- Part-time job opportunities
- Resume-building experiences
- Friendship and fun!
Students can apply at the University Ambassadors page on the CampusLink website: https://missouristate.campuslabs.com/engage/organization/universityambassadors. The application deadline for the 2021 class is January 25, 2021.
