A Chat with Chase – Returning Students and Housing for 2023-2024

March 10, 2023 by Priscilla Childress

Are you looking for housing for the next academic school year but aren’t sure where you want to live? On campus housing has many benefits like living within walking distance of all of your classes, having easy access to the dining hall and meal plans, as well as the ease of meeting tons of new people in your residence hall or on-campus apartment.

If you are interested in living on campus again for the next school year the application opened on October 18th and is open until March 31st. You can still apply to live on campus after March 31st, but you won’t be able to select your room.

If you are wanting to live in a residence hall for the following school year you still have time to select the room if you’d like to live in on a returner floor. Note that you can choose to live on a floor with a Living Learning Community (LLC) if you meet the requirements except the First-Year Bears LLC. You have until April 1st to cancel your housing application with no penalty if you decide to not live on campus.

Residence Life has a new deal for returning students who wish to live on campus for next school year. Students can apply to live in a two-person room in Wells House or Freddy House and for only $800 more a semester, you can have the room completely to yourself. If you are wanting the convenience of living on-campus next year but were wanting a little more privacy this is a cost-effective way to achieve that.
