Studying is one of the most important things to do as a student but it’s easy to get burnt out or distracted if you don’t take the proper breaks. During long study sessions I like to find 15-minute windows in my session to take breaks during. This gives me time to process the info I have already gathered and further think on what needs more attention on the subject.
During my breaks I enjoy taking a quick walk, reading, watching a little bit of a show, or eating a snack. This helps to reset my brain and prepare it to absorb more information.
During these breaks you can also take some time to reach out to family and friends, or work on a hobby. The important thing is to make sure to give yourself breaks.
Studying nonstop will work for a little while but letting your brain rest for a second will help you with retaining the information longer.
