Several students and faculty from the biology department at Missouri State University attended the regional meeting of the American Society for Microbiology. Sara Woodman, senior biology and Spanish student, won first place for undergraduate oral presentation on her study “Effects of Carbon Nanotube Exposure on Cell Growth and Gene Expression of Saccharomyces cerevisiae.”
