MSU’s Dietetic Internship Study Abroad Opportunities

December 9, 2019 by Natalie Allen

Emma Sybert, MSU dietetic intern, exploring New Zealand while learning about nutrition and research design
Are you a dietetics major researching dietetic internships? MSU’s dietetic internship has several unique options for students. Dietetic interns design a 6-week rotation in one of our community-based concentration areas of rural health or public affairs. Within this experience, interns fulfill nutrition needs in the community.
In addition, students have the opportunity to explore dietetics in Australia, New Zealand, Spain, or El Salvador. This past summer, dietetic intern Emma Sybert, participated in designing a research project on gestational diabetes and carbohydrate intake in New Zealand.
MSU also has a combined masters and dietetic internship program with an emphasis in population health. Contact program director, Hillary Roberts, MS, RDN, LD at HRoberts@missouristate.edu for more information.
