About Communication and Conflict Coaching
In your work, are you called upon to:
- Deal with employees’ personality clashes?
- Assist coworkers with interpersonal or workplace conflicts?
- Help young people consider how to deal with bullying, fights with friends, or classroom conflicts?
- Talk with clients about how they manage either professional or personal disagreements?
- Offer advice to colleagues on how to manage conflicts in your organization?
- Mentor or advise future leaders in your organization?
If you answered “yes”, then you will benefit from developing communication and conflict coaching skills! A “conflict and communication coach” works one-on-one with someone struggling with a conflict or disagreement. The “coach” helps the person in conflict:
- Talk through the conflict issues.
- Better understand the situation.
- See things in a new way.
- Brainstorm options for managing the conflict or issue.
- Learn conflict management skills.
