A six-episode video series produced by Central Michigan University with help from the Missouri Humanities Council called “America from the Ground Up,” is expected to air on public television in the United States, the United Kingdom and maybe Canada and Australia.
Archaeologist and History per course instructor Monty Dobson with a crew of four filmmakers and two Civil War experts (including William Piston, History emeritus faculty member) have worked together on the show’s focus of archaeology, the study of human history through investigation of sites, artifacts and physical remains.
