Two members of the Religious Studies Department have received awards from the Study Away Office:
Vadim Putzu, received the Award for Excellence in Study Away Programming in the Cultural Competence category for his program “Italy: A Booted History of Judaism.”
Lora Hobbs, received the Award for Excellence in Study Away Programming in the Community Engagement category for her program “Seeing More Clearly in Haiti”
The Award for Excellence in Study Away Programming was established to recognize faculty who demonstrate excellence in designing and leading short-term Study Away programs that influence the development of tomorrow’s global leaders.
