On September 10th and 11th, Assistant Professor of Sociology, Kyler J. Sherman-Wilkins, PhD attended and presented his research proposal at the Forming Science-Industry Research Collaborations training workshop sponsored by Stanford University’s Center on Longevity in Palo Alto, California. Dr. Sherman-Wilkins was one of only 25 researchers chosen from a national pool to participate in the fully funded workshop. His research project “Increasing Social Connectedness to Better Health and Performance among Employees” aims to address issues surrounding loneliness in the workplace.
