CNAS Hiring Update (as of 8:00 AM on Monday) –
*Department Head – Hospitality and Restaurant Administration – After an internal search, Dr. Stephanie Hein has been appointed Department Head effective January 2014.
*Tenure Track Position HRA Department – We welcome Albert Barreda to the faculty.  He will join us in August!
*Three searches have scheduled candidates for interviews (MTH, PAMS, GGP).  Department heads and/or search committee chairs are working on itineraries and will distribute them to departmental faculty/staff/dean’s office.
*Five searches are doing phone interviews and determining the best candidates to invite for on-campus interviews.
*Two searches are past the date of first consideration but have not determined phone interview lists yet.
*One search date of first consideration was extended to the end of January.
*Staff Searches – I believe that the only search still in progress is for the stockroom manager (chemistry).
