MSU – Discovery Center “Free Day”

The Smithsonian Traveling exhibit “Green Revolution” is sponsored and developed by the Missouri State University College of Natural & Applied Science, City Utilities of Springfield, City of Springfield Environmental Services, SMC Packaging and The Print Group. Discovery Center is proud to debut the eco-friendly, minimal carbon footprint exhibit. Springfield partners have contributed in building this “eco-zibit” and brought local information to inform and engage visitors of all ages with the critical issues concerning the future health of our planet.  Missouri State wanted to give the opportunity for everyone in the Springfield region to enjoy this exhibit and what Discovery Center has to offer. • Faculty Grant Applications require department head’s signature and comments along with the deans.  I will be out of town October 10-12.  Although I plan to be here on Monday, October 13 – my comments will be very, very brief if I get proposals after 10:00 AM on that day!!!
• College Council meets October 7 and November 11
• Promotion/tenure – All tenure/promotion dossiers were submitted to on Monday 9/29.  Heads turn them over to the committees by 9/30.  Committees must submit their recommendations with rationale by 10/20.  Department heads must submit recommendations with rationale by 11/12 to the dean.  Please use the current forms and be sure everything is signed properly – http://www.missouristate.edu/provost/tpappointments.htm
