CNAS Faculty – Mini proposals are due July 31!!!! – NSF Major Research Instrumentation (MRI) internal process. DEADLINE – July 31st – Mini proposals are due. Limit 3 pages. Submit mini proposals to researchadministration@missouristate.edu
These proposals must clearly describe the instrumentation being proposed, the PI’s and co-PIs involved, a cost estimate for the instrument and a cost estimate for installation and annual upkeep for the instrument. If there are room renovations required for the instrument those need to be disclosed in this proposal. The PI must also indicate where the instrument will reside.
August 15th – ORA will notify all who submitted mini proposals of the final decision. The new full proposal window is October 16, 2023, through November 15, 2023.

Construction Updates
Blunt (Temple Hall) Construction Details through mid-August. If you have questions, please contact the Dean’s Office and we will find the answer to your question.
There will be a total building power outage (Temple/Blunt and Kemper Halls) the weekend of August 5 & 6. Please make sure that you are prepared for this outage. There will be generators.
7/24/23 thru 8/11/23
- Electrical and plumbing work in south side fenced area continues.
- Foundation Pier Drilling Commences and Shoring continues. Concrete Trucks on JQH Parkway.
- Shoring and drilling (noise and vibration similar to demolition) continues.
