The Department of Technology and Construction Management (TCM) held their annual Chili Cook-off in Kemper Hall on January 23, 2013. The Cook-off consisted of a variety of over 15 homemade versions of chili prepared by students and faculty members. TCM students and guests filled the hall for taste testing, critiquing each blend, and casting votes for their favorite recipe.
Perhaps even better than the chili is the tradition created, and the prestigious award given to the winner. This year’s winners, Clint Muzzy and Tommy Kindle, beat the returning champion to receive the prestigious Golden Plunger Award. Each winner is given a nameplate to be attached to the award, and winners return each year to defend their title. We in the College of Business are already looking forward to next year’s Chili Cook-off!
