On Friday, May 6th, 2016 several faculty members were recognized for outstanding achievement in research and service to the College of Business. Each recipient was acknowledged during the Spring All COB meeting. Congratulations to all! Winners include:
Courtney T. Pham, instructor, Marketing: Outstanding Faculty Award.
Nominations are made through essays submitted by any COB student, and the COB Student Leadership Council selects the recipient. The criterion for selection is a faculty member who contributes to student success in a profound, meaningful way.
David B. Meinert, associate dean: Outstanding Service Award
The COB Outstanding Service Award recognizes either a faculty or staff member who has gone above and beyond in service to the university or the community. Recipients are selected by the Dean.
K. Stephen Haggard, associate professor, Finance: Outstanding Scholarly Activity Award for Empirically Based Research Paper.
This award is selected by the COB Research and Awards Committee.
Christopher S. Hines, assistant professor, Accounting: Outstanding Scholarly Activity Award for Empirically Based Research Paper.
This award is selected by the the COB Research and Awards Committee.
S Berlin Brahnam, professor, Computer Information Systems: Dean’s Research Scholar Award.
This award is give to all faculty members who have authored 15 or more refereed journal publications over the past five years.
