This semester has been a whirlwind of activity, both in and out of the classroom.  This spring we finalized our next five-year strategic plan entitled “Quality in All We Do.” The 2016-2021 plan includes five goals to advance and strengthen the college.  Many constituent groups contributed to the plan and I am pleased to share it with you in this newsletter.

We are also excited to announce that our Glass Hall renovation and expansion project has received $5 million in state matching funds as a part of a capital bill.  If you have been on campus recently you have seen the progress that has already been made on this project.  We are really looking forward to our new spaces!

Our students, alumni, faculty, and staff continue to have success and many of those stories are included in this issue.  Don’t miss the story on our Beta Alpha Psi students who recently swept first place in every category at their regional competition and are hoping to defend their first place national title from 2015, or the story on alumna Karen Dyson, a three-star general in the U.S. Army.
