Student Affairs Division & SAHE Master’s Degree Program Awarded Grand Bronze from NASPA
NASPA’s Excellence Awards selection committee and the 2017 conference committee recognized the Student Affairs Division and the SAHE Master’s Degree program as recipients of the Grand Bronze in the Administrative, Assessment, Information Technology, Fundraising, and Professional Development categories. Briefly, NASPA is one of the two major Student Affairs professional organizations. SAHE students share the products of their assessment, research, and evaluation projects involving different academic and student affairs units with the entire university community. SAHE students graduating in May: Kimmy Brake, Karissa Kenned and Alysia Johnson under the mentorship of Drs. McCarthy, Siscoe, and Brown submitted the Innovative Application, which resulted in NASPA awarding the Bronze Award.
As the Grand Bronze recipient, the Student Affairs Division and SAHE Program are invited to present about the Assessment Symposium in a poster session at the NASPA 2017 Conference, March 11 – 15, 2017 in St. Antonio, Texas. The award will be presented during the conference luncheon on March 14. Congratulations!
