After a discussion regarding timely submission of curricular proposals, and electing a student representative, it was decided that Ching-Wen would email the members and copy the department heads:
- The criteria for nominating a student representative and a request to have names forwarded to her by September 29 so members could vote on one at the October 10th
- A reminder to submit curricular proposals 10 days in advance prior to the next College Council meeting so there is time to review them. She also attached the College Council meeting schedule.
Old Business
The COE College Council Rules and Regulations COE College Council Rules & Regulations were sent to departments to review/approve last March. As a follow up, Ching-Wen will email department heads and ask them to have faculty review the document, suggest changes if needed, and if not, to approve them.
The next meeting is October 10, 2017, 3:00 p.m., Glass Hall 261.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:26 p.m.
