University of Arkansas – Pine Bluff 23rd Annual Mary E. Benjamin Conference on Educational Access – Literacy Across STEM Areas
As has been our practice in the past, COE will support faculty to present papers at the Mary E. Benjamin Conference at the University of Arkansas, Pine Bluff. The conference will be held on April 20, 2016. This year’s conference is focused on literacy skills needed for students to master STEM subjects in preparation for college and career readiness. Proposals are due on or before March 19, 2016. Submit Here
The Dean has set aside $2,500 to cover the cost of registration and travel for any COE faculty who present at the UAPB conference. In years past, this amount covered the cost for several faculty to car pool to Pine Bluff, present, and return the same day. In 2014, nine faculty took advantage of this opportunity. Would be terrific to support this number of faculty (or more) again in 2016.
