Becky Crowder welcomed everyone and called the meeting to order. The minutes from the meeting on January 15, 2019 were approved.
Action Items
Curricular Proposal:
New Program
Childhood Education & Family Studies
– Environmental STEM
Gina Wood explained the reason for the new program and that she withdrew the proposal and submitted it with a new proposed program title: Environmental STEM for Teachers. This was the only change.
The proposal was approved with the understanding that the only change was in the title.
New Business
– University Hearing Committee: Send two nominations to Faculty Senate Office by February 12, 2019. This vote was taken by ballot. The following are the two nominations that will be sent to Faculty Senate:
Sabrina Brinson, CEFS
Sarah Nixon, RFT
– The vote for a newly elected member for the Committee on Faculty Concerns will take place at the March 5th
There was no new business.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:30 p.m.
