Unable to attend: Rebecca Crowder (GLS), Michele Smith (CLSE), Rachel Swofford (student rep)
Ching-Wen Chang, Chair, called the meeting to order. The minutes from January 16, 2018, were approved with no changes.

New Business
Nominations for Faculty-Senate Judicial Commission (FSJC)
Members nominated Elizabeth King, CEFS, and Rebecca Swearingen, RFT, for FSJC. Ching-Wen will forward the names to the Faculty Senate Office. Faculty Senate members will elect the new members at their March session.
Council on General Education and Intercollegiate Programs (CGEIP) Replacement
Tami Arthaud, CLSE, will not be able to finish her term (2018-2020) due to other committee obligations. Members elected Maia Moore, CLSE, to complete Tami’s term. Ching-Wen will forward the name to the Faculty Senate Office.
Old Business
Nominations for University Hearing Committee (UHC)
College Council members voted by email, and Ching-Wen forwarded the names of two nominees, Sabrina Brinson, CEFS, and Vicki Sutton, GLS, to the Faculty Senate Office for UHC. Faculty Senate will conduct the election at its February meeting.
The next meeting is March 6, 2018, 3:00 – 4:00 p.m., STRONG 450
