“The Hough Post”
December 2, 2019
Volume 8, Number 13
We received the CAEP Site Visit Report today. The review team is recommending an Area for Improvement (AFI) for both the Initial and Advanced licensure programs for standard 5.2. They noted that not all of the EPP created assessments meet the CAEP requirements. The good news is that the team did not recommend any stipulations. The report also described the positive feedback they received from current students, former students, and K-12 partners during the Sunday interviews.
We have 7 days to provide recommendations for factual corrections to the report, and we have 30 days to submit a rejoinder. The lead site team member can write a response to that rejoinder. All materials will then be reviewed by the CAEP Accreditation Council in April 2020 where the final decision will be made.
