Around the world with service-learning

November 12, 2018 by Charles Whitaker

On Saturday, at our Around the World in 80 Days cultural educational event, children and families in underprivileged schools in Springfield had the opportunity to experience different cultures this Saturday through art, music, and science projects. Students will make stops in Egypt, China, Italy, Tanzania, and many more locations from around the globe.

Our Bonner Leaders, student workers, and service-learning students spent weeks preparing each station. They used their classroom knowledge and flexed their creativity to create an exciting and meaningful program for all of our visitors.

Another day of the event is scheduled for December 1st.
