When the Bear Pantry receives donations, we collect a wide variety of items. Though we are greatly appreciative of the generosity the Missouri State University community receives, we sadly aren’t allowed to accept everything. Sometimes, we are forced to throw away items for a multitude of reasons. To prevent this waste, we have provided a detailed list of items we are and are not allowed to accept (along with some reasons as to why)! We hope this helps with future donations and reduces the waste we generate. If you still have any questions after reading the lists below, contact us at BearPantry@MissouriState.edu and we will get back to you!
